John A. DuBard, Ph.D., PMPPresident
Prior to founding ASD in 1979, John served in the USAF as a test and evaluation engineer and worked in Florida’s state government as a systems analyst and project manager. Over the past 30 years, he has grown ASD into a successful regional IT and management consulting firm. He was honored with the Jim Moran Entrepreneurial Excellence Award, and ASD was recognized three years in a row in the Inc 500 listing of the fastest growing privately held companies in the U.S. He received a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Mississippi and a Ph.D. in Communication from Florida State University (FSU). Dr. DuBard also pursues other professional, service, and personal interests. He serves as a faculty member at FSU and is the founder of its Project Management Center. He coached highly competitive youth soccer teams for many years and continues to pursue interests in musical theatre. As an instrument-rated pilot with 40 years flying experience, he enjoys taking a look at the world from a different perspective.

AdamsSr. Vice President
John Adams joined ASD in 1994 following his retirement from the US Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel. John’s military career included assignments in strategic intelligence, tactical command & control, counternarcotics, and planning on the Air Staff in the Pentagon. His service spanned both the Vietnam War and Desert Storm with various tours of duty in Thailand, Japan, Korea, Canada, Iceland, England, Germany, Italy, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia. He has performed duties on USAF and USN aircraft. John's responsibilities at ASD include oversight of all accounting, legal, HR, and administrative functions.
Bernhard
Schmid, M.S., PMPVice President, Federal Division
Bernhard Schmid has a passion for Project Management and Information Technology. With over 10 years of experience as a project manager in new media, software development, and Health IT, he has the background to envision and realize innovative solutions for our clients. Since his early endeavors in web development in his native Austria, he has had a desire to learn about new software disciplines and management methodologies. His article"Motivation in Project Management: The Project Manager’s Perspective" was published in the Project Management Journal in June,2008. Bernhard loves outdoor activities including skiing in the mountains and on the water.
Benjamin
Williams, M.S., PMPDirector of Government Services
Benjamin Williams serves as Director of Government Services. In this capacity, he heads up the information gathering, solution formulation, authoring, and submission of responses to government procurement opportunities. He also performs related management, project management, and consulting functions. Benjamin has been with ASD since 1997. He earned a B.A. from West Georgia University in Political Science, a B.S. from the University of Maryland in Business and Management, and a M.S. from Georgia State University in Computer Information Systems. Also he was certified in 2007 in ITIL Service Management Foundations, in 2003 as a PMP, in 2001as a MCSE, in 1997 as a MCSD, and in 1993 as an IBM Systems Management and Availability Specialist.
Cindy
Reynolds, B.S.Regional Manager
Cindy Reynolds joined ASD in 1997, and as a Regional Branch Manager, she serves all of ASD’s clients and staff within the state of Florida. Cindy began her career in IT as a Programmer/Analyst with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement after graduating from Florida State University. Her 20+ years of application development have spanned the technologies of COBOL mainframes to .NET Software as a Service. Cindy’s unique technical background and strong professional relationships with both clients and employees make her an ideal resource for the positions she’s held within ASD, including Corporate Operations, Recruiting, Marketing, Account Management, and Software Development. In her spare time, Cindy enjoys spending time with her husband Jim and four children and doing as many adrenaline-fueled activities as possible.
